Become a SonScape Retreats Partner

SonScape Retreats strives to keep our retreats as affordable as possible.  Consequently, we charge less than the actual cost.  We make up the difference through caring ministry partners like you.  SonScape Retreats is a non-profit ministry; your gifts are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Every gift makes a difference:

• $1,800 makes it possible for one pastor to attend.
• $2,500 makes it possible for a ministry couple to attend.
• $10,000 makes a retreat of four couples possible.

There are a number of ways to help shepherds coming to SonScape Retreats for “a quiet place to rest."

• Monthly support; by personal checks or withdrawals from your bank account. 
• Convenient and secure credit card donations can be accepted online by clicking the following link:  

• Appreciated assets; gifts of stocks, bonds, and other appreciated assets.
• Many churches are including SonScape Retreats in their monthly Mission Budget, viewing SonScape as a mission's cause for the worldwide church.
• Give a gift of a SonScape Retreat to a missionary couple your church supports.
• Give a gift of a SonScape Retreat to your Senior Pastor and spouse.  (Gift certificates are available).
• Plan to send other members of your pastoral staff to SonScape Retreats.
• Give a gift to the SonScape Retreats Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance for those pastors who are unable to afford the full amount of a SonScape Retreat.

Other Partnering Opportunities

Beyond your financial support there are other ways you can support SonScape Retreats.

Host a SonScape Retreat

Every SonScape retreat needs a “Host Couple."  This couple ministers to the guests in remarkable ways.  Their job is to serve the SonScape guests.  This ministry is critical to the success of a group.  It is a loving and sacrificial way to serve those in ministry and missions.  A Host Couple comes to SonScape at their own expense.  Lodging, in the ministry center, and meals with SonScape guests are enjoyed.  The Host Couple prepares meals and provides warm and loving settings, as well as maintaining the kitchen and other areas in the ministry center during the retreat.  They also visit with the guests, offer to run errands and serve the guests in other personal ways.  Being a Host Couple is truly a ministry of friendship and service to the clergy and missionary couples who come to SonScape.  Many of our Host Couples form lasting friendships with the members of the group they host.

Host a SonScape Retreats Dessert
Another way to participate in the ministry of SonScape Retreats is to open your home for a SonScape Dessert.  This is a much needed and critical means of introducing other persons to the ministry of SonScape Retreats and seeking their consideration of supporting SonScape financially.  SonScape provides all of the materials and information to host the Dessert and will guide you in the entire process.  SonScape will be happy to assist financially with the Dessert, unless you choose to underwrite it as a gift to the ministry.  Please contact the SonScape Retreats office for more details.
